Dying Alive
His heart beats for a cadaver
The blood runs in vain
waiting to gush out his wrists
He lost himself in oblivion
forgetting love and hate
He only knows despair
His soul will soon empty
and be a vacuum
which will siphon what’s left of his sanity
Sleep Eternal
Let me sleep forever
Because the morning sun brings nothing but dread
A sliver of light licks my face
And I am reminded of these
My obligations and expectations
Made with sickening absurdity
By incomprehensible people
The colors of my world has faded away
There is no taste, zeal or life
In its stead is internal torment
My life’s structure has rotten away
Into sand, ash and dust
My only solace is my slumber
And the hope that I don’t wake up
